PVC wood plastic is basically filled with fiber wood powder (generally wood powder of about 80-120 mesh is used and more poplar wood powder is used).
Calcium carbonate depends on different quality requirements and production processes. You can use 2.4-weighted light calcium carbonate or 400-1250 mesh heavy calcium. Some wood-plastic floors are processed using coarse powder heavy calcium.For the three inorganic fillers of calcium carbonate, talc and wollastonite, as the amount of inorganic powder added to the system gradually increases, the specific gravity and hardness of the PE wood-plastic composite material show a gradually increasing trend.The 24h water absorption rate and linear thermal expansion coefficient of PE plastic wood composite materials gradually decreased. Compared with the other two fillers, the proportion of calcium carbonate-filled PE wood composites is relatively large.Wollastonite-filled PE wood-plastic composite materials have the highest hardness and are most conducive to reducing the water absorption and linear thermal expansion coefficient of PE wood-plastic composite materials.
Although wood-plastic composite materials have many advantages, the production cost of wood-plastic composite materials is relatively high due to constraints such as production technology and processing equipment.This greatly limits the long-term development and widespread application of wood-plastic composite materials. Adding inorganic powder to wood-plastic composite materials can not only greatly reduce production costs,It can also improve the tensile strength, bending performance, impact performance, creep resistance, heat resistance and improve the processing fluidity of plastic wood products.
